Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF EMPLOYER REVIEWS ON RECRUITMENT SUCCESS
The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of employer reviews on recruitment success, focusing on their impact on candidate attraction, application rates, and overall recruitment outcomes. A survey design is selected for its ability to gather quantitative data from a broad range of respondents. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 320 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Uyo, focusing on a retail company that actively monitors and responds to employer reviews. The reliability coefficient score of 0.86 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings indicate that positive employer reviews significantly enhance recruitment success by attracting high-quality candidates and increasing application rates. Recommendations include actively managing employer reviews and leveraging them as a strategic tool for recruitment.
